Who is EyeLoveDallas?
I met Desiree, owner of EyeLoveDallas about a year ago. She not only does eyebrow, lashes, microblading but she’s also a phenomenal makeup artist. We were hired to style a bridal party together and I loved her work. She has the kindest smile and her energy immediately makes you want to be friends with her.
She did my makeup for my #createdwithAdidas sponsorship. I couldn’t wait to link up with her again.
We kept in touch and I finally got a chance to let her work her magic on my lashes with a lash lift/tint & brows with shaping/waxing.
What is a lash lift?
A lash lift is a non-invasive process. Its a semi-permanent way of curling your natural lashes. Its a great alternative and more natural approach than lash extensions. A lash lift gives you longer looking lashes, brighter open eyes and a makeup less-makeup look. The thing about a lash lift that enticed me was the fact that you can still rub your eyes and get your lashes wet without damaging the lift.
How to prepare for and maintain a lash lift?
I showed up to my appointment eye make up free. The appointment took about 1-1.5 hours. After the appointment, you’ll need to wait 12-24 hours to get lashes wet or wear eye makeup. The lash lift will typically last 6-8 weeks and will need to be done again after that time period.
