It’s no secret – sweets are my ultimate weakness!
When it comes to adorable, Macarons take the cake (*sweet pun intended).
I discovered JOY Macarons a long time ago while walking down Greenville Ave.
Obviously, pistachio is my favorite flavor! A hit of sweetness, goes perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea!
Nothing I enjoy more than ending a work day with a book and some macarons – did I mention they have ice cream macaron sandwiches – ” Mac Sammies” !? Yes, I said macaron ice cream sandwich.
After trying almost every flavor – I instantly thought – “How cute would these Mac Towers be at a wedding? ” I quickly started recommending JOY to my brides when the topic of wedding desserts came up!

I am the Owner/Creator of JOY Macarons. I dabbled in many potential business ideas before settling on baking and macarons. My first love was paper and I tried my hand at letterpress and bookmaking before realizing how much I loved to bake (side note: I have always enjoyed baking, but even more, I have always loved to eat sweets!). I started making macarons and got a great response when sharing them with friends and family. They are so beautiful to look at and provide an endless range of flavor possibilities. I thought I could create an interesting retail experience by focusing exclusively on macarons and offering lots of different flavors in a fun environment.
I truly love every part of my job. Working in the kitchen is my passion, but I have enjoyed every moment of meeting our customers, collaborating with other amazing small business owners and hiring a team that is hard-working and dedicated to our vision.
There are so many wonderful books and quotes out there! I always tell myself that mistakes are necessary for growth. This is my favorite way to look at my business.
Macarons are a unique, beautiful alternative to a traditional cake. Couples can easily customize their colors and flavors to coordinate with their wedding. In addition, macarons towers make it easy for your guest to grab a sweet bite at their leisure or small macaron boxes can be given as party favors. All of our macarons are gluten-free, which makes it a great alternative for those with allergies as well.
My favorite flavors are Violet and Black Currant, Pistachio and Cookie Dough. We are always working on fun flavors of the month, but I personally love anything with marshmallow fluff in it as well!
